GETTING STARTED
As a new member of NHV there are several ways to get started.
If you are not yet a member, please register. It only takes a minute.
Our Recommendation for Getting Started
First, we strongly recommend that you read our Forum Guidelines. If you were to cross one of these guidelines, you could be suspended or permanently banned from the site. So it is important that you know them.
Secondly, you should Introduce Yourself to the rest of the forum. This lets the forum members know that you have joined.
Next you should browse and read or listen to other artists here and drop them some feedback on their work. In return, they will be more likely to drop you some feedback in the future.
If you like battles better, you should visit the Battle Arena and drop some votes on some battles. If you do so, you should first read the Battle Rules and Voting Rules.
After you have either left feedback on others work, or voted some battles (or both), you should choose if you want to show off some of your personal work or battle first.
If you want to show off some of your work, either post it in the text or audio section (or both). Note: Be sure to not take members feedback too harsh and try to consider their opinion as it is mostly genuine.
If you want to battle, create or answer a call out. After rules and stipulations are decided, either you or your opponent need to create the battle thread.
You may also want to discuss anything in general. You can discuss anything from current events to how much you love scrambled eggs or join in on others conversations.
If you need any help, you can ask a question in the Help thread. Or you can contact a Moderator.
You also can edit your profile. You can do many things there such as change your avatar, create a custom title, and much more.
Be sure to save us to your favorites bar and stay active.
We are glad you have joined!
Good luck on your quest to creating a respected membership at NHV!
